What up, kids? I had a great weekend and today I'm ignoring Monday. My parents were gone for two days so my girls came over Saturday night and we ate like pigs and drank a lot. We sang stupid songs and played a ridiculous card game to make the drinking more interesting (we blew cards, lmao. You put the whole deck of cards on the top of a bottle and then take turns blowing into it. The person who blows the last card off the top of the bottle has to do a shot. Sophisticated, no?) I felt weirdly solid the next day but nevertheless spent it in bed watching movies and TV shows:

Street Kings
A movie I downloaded a while ago and got to watching yesterday. It was so weird. I loved the soundtrack, I think. But the movie itself was really weird. I mainly wanted to see it for the cast (Keanu Reeves, Hugh Laurie, Forest Whitaker - sounds like a winner, right?). But...you know how movies usually have this structure - first part is the setup, then things get rollin', then comes the escalation and finally the resolution. Or something like that. Well, this movie felt like one setup after another and then the resolution.

The Wire
I only have four episodes left and then I'm done with the show. BUT I'M SCARED TO SEE THE ENDING. Specifically, I have this terrible feeling Omar's not gonna make it alive out of his prolonged and motherfuckingly scary showdown with Marlo's crew. And I'm pretty damn sure I couldn't handle seeing Omar die. He's become one of my all time favorite male characters, I have enormous love for him. And this gut feeling or irrational fear keeps me from watching the rest of the series. If you know how it ends, please don't tell me! I'll probably watch it tonight and tomorrow. But I'm so scared.

How I Met Your Mother
I spent most of the day yesterday watching the show from the very beginning. It's so delightful, I STILL can't believe there's a sit-com like this one in existence. Anyhoo, I saw FIFTEEN episodes. And I decided to picspam the unbelievable awesomeness that are Lily and Marshall. You know, we're all always swooning over Barney or Robin or Barney/Robin and for damn good reason. But Lily and Marshall amaze me just as much. They're the coolest, most adorable and most compatible long term couple this side of Eric and Tami Taylor and they need to be picspammed! So on with it! (Other characters guest star in this. Just FYI.)

Lily: Did you know there's a Pop-Tart under your fridge?
Marshall: No, but dibs.

Hahahaha...NO, BUT DIBS. ROFL.

Cab driver: Whoa, whoa, whoa, did you hit her?
Lily: Me, hit me? Please, this guy can barely even spank me in bed for fun. He's all like, "oh, honey, did that hurt?" And I'm like, "come on, let me have it, you pansy!"

Ahahahahaha...This is where they had me.

Marshall: Lily?
(Lily jumps terrified)
Lily: How long have you been sitting there? Stupid eye patch.

Marshall: So, did you kiss her?
Ted: No, the moment wasn't right. Look, this woman could actually be my future wife, I want our first kiss to be amazing.
Lily: Ah, Ted, that is so sweet. So you chickened out like a little bitch.

Marshall: Yeah, I'm scared, OK? But when I think about spending the rest of my life with Lily, committing forever, no other women, doesn't scare me at all. I'm marrying that girl.
(Lily stands outside of cab and leans in toward Marshall)
Marshall: Lily. Lily, I like olives.
Lily: We'll make it work.

Ted: She didn't even give me the signal!
Barney: What, is she gonna bat her eyes at you in morse code? (bats eyes) Ted... kiss me. No! You just kiss her!
Ted: Not if you don't get the signal!
(Barney kisses Marshall.)

Barney: Did Marshall give me the signal?
Marshall: No! (to Lily) I didn't, I swear!

(Lily wants to have sex and is trying to seduce Marshall away from his books.)
Marshall: Baby, no. I have a 25-page paper on constitutional law due Monday, I've barely started.
Lily: Hey, I'm just sitting here, wearing my ring, my beautiful ring. Kinda makes wearing other stuff seem wrong. Like my shirt. I kinda don't wanna wear my shirt anymore. Or my underwear. That's right, I'm not wearing any.
Marshall: No underwear.
Lily: Not even slightly.
(cut to Ted sitting on the couch, watching TV)
Ted: Guys. Boundaries.

LMFAO. I love how they're always molesting Ted.

Ted: Hey, don't you have a paper to write?
Marshall: Dude, you're talking to The Kid.
Ted: I know it.
Marshall: I'm gonna knock back this beer. I'm gonna knock back one more beer. I'm gonna go home. I'm gonna write a 25-page paper. I'm gonna hand it in and I'm gonna get an A. My name is Rufus and that's the Trufus.

Hahaha...and look how cute they are laughing at Marshall's silliness.

Lily: I'm not gonna to take off my ring. Wouldn't you be jealous of guys swarming all over my beeswax?
Marshall: Oh yeah, you know me, I'm the jealous type. Any goon so much as looks at you, I'll sock him in the kisser.

This is from Okay Awesome when Marshall bails on the boring wine tasting party they were having at home and then Lily finds him at the club and instead of busting him, she cracks up. It's so sweet.

Hahaha...Lily is usually much smaller than Marshall but look at the height difference when Marshall is in heels!

Lily: Cher?
Marshall: Right here, babe.
Ted: I just met the perfect woman. She's funny. She's beautiful. She loves Star Wars.
Marshall: Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. What's her take on Ewoks?
Ted: Loves them.
Marshall: Oh good. I don't know why people are so cynical about Ewoks. The Rebellion would have failed without the Ewoks.
Ted: Get this, she's a marine biologist. She spent a year in Antarctica studying penguins.
Marshall: Oh, penguins are cool, kinda like black and white Ewoks. I approve.

Lily (from bedroom): Ted, is your world ready to be rocked? (echo) rocked-rocked-rocked.
Ted: Can't wait.
(Marshall and Lily walk out in their pirate and parrot costumes)
Marshall: So, what do you think?
Lily: (repeats like a parrot) So, what do you think? (squawks)
Ted: Wow! Marshall, you wearing eyeliner?
Marshall: Oh, yeah. Weirdly hot, right?

Marshall looked totally awesome in this costume. Eyeliner does suit him.

Lily: I think you won the dish-off tonight, baby. This steak totally bitch-slapped my pork chop.
Marshall: That might be true but your rice pilaf kicked my spinach in the crotch so hard it threw up a little bit.

Dish-off! Different meats bitch-slapping each other! Spinach with crotch! This is what I'm talking about. They're so great together, always on the same wavelength and playing off each other.

Carl: Ladies and gentlemen, the results are in. And the winners of this year's costume contest are Lily Aldrin as a parrot and Marshall Eriksen as a gay pirate.
Marshall: Oh yeah! Wait. What did he say?
Lily: Oh, who cares, Marshall? We won!
Marshall: Gay pirate, where are you getting that from?
Carl: Dude, you're wearing eye liner.
Marshall: OK, I just want everybody here to know that I'm not a gay pirate. I have sex with my parrot all the time. That came out wrong.

This ugly ass cap is ugly cause I had to cap it myself but I just had to cause this was brilliant.

OK, now for one of the best Lily/Marshall shenanigans episodes:

Marshall: No, it wasn't a cockroach. It had fur and only mammals have fur.
Lily: It was a cockroach.
Marshall: Come on, Lily, the only way that that was a cockroach was if it was wearing the skin of a mouse it just killed.
Lily: Oh my God.

ROOOFL.

What I totally love about this whole thing is that every time they run out of their apartment and come to the bar all freaked out, they have a shot or something (mostly Barney's, lol).

Barney: So did you get a good look at it?
Lily: Yeah. It has six legs, a hard exoskeleton like a roach...
Marshall: But it has mouse-like characteristics. Grey-brown tufts of fur, a tail.
Robin: So which is it, a cockroach or a mouse?
Lily: It's a cockamouse.
Robin: What?
Lily: It's some sort of mutant combination of the two. It's as if a cockroach and a mouse...you know...
Barney: Hit the horizontal ten-legged interspecies cha-cha?
Robin: That's impossible. That simply can't happen.
Lily: Oh, but it can.
Marshall: And it has.
Lily: And it's pissed.

Lily: He's a whole new species. The cockamouse.
Marshall: And it's the size of a potato.
(Marshall shows everyone his drawing of the cockamous)
Robin: So, what, now it's a cockapotatomouse?
Marshall: Don't make it sound ridiculous. It's a cockamouse.

Robin: Well, I believe that you saw something perfectly normal but you've exaggerated it in your mind, you know, um, like the Loch Ness Monster.
Marshall: If by 'like the Loch Ness Monster,' you mean, totally exists and is awesome, then yeah, it's like the Loch Ness monster.

ROFL. Marshall's face at Robin's suggestion that Nessie isn't real! Bwahahaha awesome.

Robin: Wow, that's a pretty sophisticated trap. You think the road runner's gonna fall for it?
Lily: OK, we get it. You're skeptical. But Marshall and I, we're believers. We believe.
Marshall: Yeah, look around. The universe is mysterious and awesome. You got the Bermuda triangle, ghosts, Big Foot.
Robin: Bad maps. Creaky houses. Hillbilly in a gorilla suit.
Marshall: Aliens. Oh, come one, you gotta give me aliens. Stonehenge. Area 51. There's alien crap all over the place.

Hahaha...Alien crap. And my Marshall/TXF icon could totally be the product of this scene.

Lily: Holy crap. We got it! What do we do with it?
Marshall: Calm down, I have a plan. I told my friend, Sudeep, about it. He wants to show it to the Columbia biology department. But it has to be alive.
Lily: Wait, no no. They'll do lab experiments on it. That's so mean. Shouldn't we just beat it to death with a bat?

Sudeep: You bastard, I actually got excited about this.
Marshall: What?
Sudeep: It's empty.
Marshall: Wait, but if it's not here, that means...(eyes widen) LILY!

Ahahahahaha...amazing.

Robin: Oh my God. It's real.
Lily: Oh, is it? Do something.
(Robin throws a drink at it)
Lily: What the hell was that? You trying to get it drunk?

Marshall bursts in:

Marshall: Lily, thank God! Lily, I love you.
(Marshall grabs cockamouse and run towards window)
Marshall: Robin, open the window!
(Lily, Marshall and Robin run over to the window and Marshall throws the cockamouse out))
Robin: It can fly.
Lily, Marshall: Wow.
Marshall: Be free, mutant beast. I'll miss this private war of ours. I grew to admire your tenacious...Oh my God, it's headed this way!!!
(Marshall slams window shut and animal flies into it)

Ahahahahaha...this episode is comedy gold for these two.

Lily: On Monday, I'm gonna have to tell my kindergarten class who I teach not to run with scissors that my fiancé ran me through with a frickin' broad sword.
Marshall: Well, just to be fair, it didn't go all the way through.

Lily: I'm pretty sure this is a mixed tape you made me in sophomore year.

Marshall: Look, I don't wanna be exactly like my family, and don't take this the wrong way, but I don't wanna be exactly like your family either.
(Lily shakes her head)

Ted: I drank all five, bitch.
Marshall: (laughing) I love drunk Ted.

Ted: Marshall thinks you're a vampire.
(Marshall laughs and then gives Ted a stern look)

Ahahahaha one of my all time favorite Marshall scenes.

This song is so beautiful. I first heard it in a Bones episode "Aliens in a Spaceship". It starts up about the time Booth notices a gust of air come out of the sand and starts running desperately to save Brennan and Hodgins. This song added oodles to the scene.

BOOTH: Reason for wanting a gun?
BRENNAN: To shoot people.
BOOTH: Not a good response.

BRENNAN: So I can shoot them.

Aw, look at the look he gives her.

These are part of the picspam just cause Booth looks extra hot wearing a shoulder gun holster. Plus he's being all menacing and stuff.

I like this cap, the way they're sitting and how they look like kids when talking to Booth's boss.

BRENNAN: Are you going to help?
BOOTH: Well, I would, but this is a $1,200 suit.
BRENNAN: Are you kidding me? I haven't slept in forty-eight hours and you're worried about your suit? Get over here.

Awww. I believe this was the first of many, MANY patented loving Booth looks. (Sidenote: David's wrist tattoo - yummy.)

BRENNAN: We all share in the death of every human being.
BOOTH: Very poetic.
BRENNAN: No. Very literal. We all share DNA. When I look at a bone, it's not some artifact that I can separate from myself. It's a part of a person who got here the same way I did. It should never be easy to take someone's life. I don't care who it is.
(Booth looks at her.)
BRENNAN: What?
(He doesn’t answer her, a slow smile spreading across his face.)
BRENNAN: What?
BOOTH: (chuckles) You've been practicing your Nobel Prize speech just a little too much.

So this was the first Epps episode and I loved it. Psycho killers playing mind games episodes are always a favorite.

The Man In The Fallout Shelter

HODGINS: Your robot reminds me of you. You tell it to turn, it stops. You tell it to stop, it turns. You ask it to take out the garbage, it watches reruns of Firefly.

Hahaha...Damn, I'll miss their interaction.
But seriously, how hilarious is the fact Zack built a robot?

GOODMAN: The alarm sounded shortly after Mr. Addy cut into a human bone. That must have been the source.
HAL: Was he following autopsy protocol?
BRENNAN: Of course. However...
HODGINS: I was drinking an eggnog.
HAL: And now he's there with you breathing the same air.
HODGINS: Hey, I got into the decontamination shower with Zack. Haven't I been through enough hell?

HAL: We have no choice but to impose quarantine. Valley fever can be fatal, and we can't risk a pandemic. Just calm down and let us handle things from this side.
BOOTH: Anyone besides me worried that a guy dressed like Santa is in charge?

Ahaha, Booth's boxers are golden.

HODGINS: Tomorrow I was supposed to leave for Quebec. You wanna know the true meaning of Christmas? It's being inside a 300-year-old inn with a French Canadian masseuse when there's ten feet of snow outside.
ZACK: Christmas is going home to Michigan and heading into the woods with your brothers to cut a twelve foot Christmas tree, and you all decorate it together. Brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews. Forty people who all love you and are happy to see you. That, my friend, is the true meaning of Christmas.
HODGINS: Nah, I'm gonna have to go with the masseuse on this one.

Watching this episode after the season 3 finale basically broke my heart. Zaaack. :(

BOOTH: What are those little tiny lights dancing on the ceiling?
GOODMAN: For the third time, those are minute firings of neurons on your optic nerve due to your reaction to the anti-fungal cocktail.
BOOTH: Wow. They're beautiful.
GOODMAN: You are stoned, Agent Booth.
BOOTH: Oh, good. Let's hope it lasts long enough to keep this from being the worst Christmas of my life.

This right here is THE most hilarious scene of the entire episode and it's about 3 seconds long. Brennan working and Booth randomly jumping out behind her, wearing Angela's elf hat, spreading his hands, not saying a word. ROFL. Kudos to Boreanaz.

One of the rare scenes in season 1 where Booth completely invades Brennan's personal space. I know it now seems like he's always been doing that but that kind of behavior only became frequent in the second season.

BOOTH: Bones, it's after midnight. Hmm? Christmas Eve day. Both an eve and a day. It's a Christmas miracle.
BRENNAN: Still enjoying your medication, I see.

Ahahaha...

BOOTH: You don't seem too upset about missing Christmas.
BRENNAN: Indications are that Christ, if he existed, was born in late spring and that the celebration of his birth was shifted to coincide with the pagan rite of the winter solstice so that early Christians weren't persecuted.
BOOTH: Hmm. What are you, like, the Christmas killer?
BRENNAN: It's the truth.
BOOTH: It sounds like the truth 'cause it's so rational, right? But, you know, the true truth is that you just - you hate Christmas, so you just spout out all these facts and you ruin it for everyone else.
BRENNAN: I ruin the true truth with facts?

ROFL. I know Booth's high but this still sounds like any other mature conversation they'd have.

BOOTH: You know, Bones, you make it very, very hard for me to be nice to you.

BRENNAN: OK. Let's just...you know what? Let's pretend we're Booth, ok?
HODGINS: Oooh! Let, let, let me try! Ooh. ( Does his best Booth impersonation) The daughter got pregnant from the killer in El Salvador, then came here. He catches up to him, they fight.
ANGELA: (laughing) He joins a gang and then kills her.
HODGINS: The father comes after him seeking revenge and the killer kills him. Oh!

Ahahahahahaha...Hodgins NAILED it. Seriously, TJ totally picked up on the little ways Booth talks and gesticulates. Awesome scene.

Brennan beats up a gang leader.

FBI AGENT: Mara Muerte has put a hit out on your lady scientist.
BOOTH: Oh, man.

ORTEZ: Are you crazy? This is my neighborhood.
BOOTH: You put a hit out on my partner?
ORTEZ: She's not FBI.
BOOTH: I never said anything about FBI. She's my partner, ese. And if anything happens to her, I will find you and I will kill you. I won't think twice. Come here, look in my eyes. (Pushes barrel of his gun into his mouth, and cocks it) Look at my face. If anything happens to her, I will kill you. This is between you and me, and nobody sees, nobody knows. You got nothing to prove, understand? You understand?
ORTEZ: Yeah.
BOOTH: Yeah, I thought so.

OK, that was awesome but I still have trouble believing a gang leader intimidates that easily.

BRENNAN: Where were you?
BOOTH: I had something to do.
BRENNAN: More important than a funeral?
BOOTH: I thought so at the time.

Two Bodies In The Lab

The Booth!looks.

BOOTH: You know, what ever happened to seeing someone across a crowded room, eyes meeting, that old black magic gets you in its spell…
BRENNAN: There’s no such thing as magic.
BOOTH: Oh there’s magic.

Brennan's Internet date gets questioned after someone tries to kill Brennan. Brennan likes him.

DAVID: You know, one of my partners met his wife online.
BRENNAN: You’re kidding?
DAVID: No, they’ve been married for five years.
BOOTH: Doesn’t mean it’s not creepy.
DAVID: Okay, I’m sorry. Did I miss something cause I don’t want to get in the way or between…
BRENNAN: What? Uh, no.
BOOTH: [Scoffs] No.
BRENNAN: No.
BOOTH: God.

Haha, this was awesome. David leaving, Brennan trying to check him out and Booth totally body-blocking her.

Aw, this was so cute. The awkward, 'you're in my apartment, it's not job-related, I don't know what to do' posture and smile Brennan's got going.

BRENNAN: I mostly just read and listen to music.
BOOTH: So let’s listen to some music. Huh? Music. What do we got, Bones? Wow! World music. Oh, there’s a shock - Tibetan throat singers. Rock on, Brennan.

ROFL.

BRENNAN: Uh, how did that get there?
BOOTH: Oh please, everybody loves Foreigner. Hot Blooded? Talk about a guilty pleasure. Check it, baby.

Awww, THE BEST. Big geeks, both of them.

BRENNAN (on the phone): David, Hi. I’m fine, thanks. Booth, yeah. I’m still under lockdown until we solve these crimes. Yes, Foreigner. Okay, I’ll... Okay, sure. I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Okay, thanks for calling. Bye. [Brennan hangs up the phone and walks over to Booth. He stops dancing and looks at her for a moment.]
BOOTH: Wait, I hope he didn’t think...
BRENNAN: No.
BOOTH: No, cause I...I wouldn’t want to uh, you know ruin things for you, or ruin anything.
BRENNAN: Not a problem.
BOOTH: Hey, you got a soda, juice?
BRENNAN: Yeah in my fridge. I’ll get it.
BOOTH: No, no, no. You know what? I’m... I’m not your guest. You don’t have to wait on me. I’ll get it.

HODGINS: Someone at the lab works for the mob. I can see it. There’s not much difference between a corrupt corporate government and organized crime.
BOOTH: You’re right.
HODGINS: Excuse me?
BOOTH: The only way that this could unfold is if someone on the inside was orchestrating things.
HODGINS: People never tell me I’m right. They only say I’m crazy. Love you, man.

Booth realizes Brennan's in danger and excellent stuff ensues:

ROTFLMAOOO!!! The two of them squeezed into the Mini Cooper, Hodgins all wide-eyed and shit. Priceless stuff.

BOOTH: Yeah, I’m going in with you.
FBI AGENT: You can barely stand.
BOOTH: I said I’m going with you. Give me my gun.

Still not sure how in the hell Booth managed to even get out of bed after getting blown up. Maybe it's some adrenaline thing or something, he did collapse once Brennan was safe.

BOOTH: Alright. Okay, Alright. Hold on. [Ducking his head under the hook between her arms, he lifts her off the hook and they both fall to their knees holding onto one another] Oh, it’s okay. I’m right here. It’s all over. Okay. Shh. I’m right here, alright. It’s all over. Shh...alright.
BRENNAN: How did you get out of the hospital?
BOOTH: [Wincing] Hodgins gave me a ride. Maybe...maybe you could give me a ride back though, huh?

BOOTH: Nah, I’ll be fine. I’m just going to you know, flip around the TV here.
BRENNAN: Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow.

He's not exactly thrilled she's going on a date. And then she comes back. :)

BRENNAN: I rescheduled. My…my head still hurts.
BOOTH: Well, you can watch TV if you’d like.
BRENNAN: Sure.

She's rather watching TV with him (and she's not a TV person) than going out with a guy she kinda likes. I guess you could say she's feeling guilty about leaving him cause he did get blown up instead of her and then saved her life but...I'm not saying that. =P

The Skull In The Desert

BRENNAN: Booth, please. Angela's boyfriend is missing, maybe dead. It, it took all of my charm -
BOOTH: All of your charm? Oh, boy.
BRENNAN: - just to get the sheriff to let me look at the skull. When I asked him to let me send the skull to the Jeffersonian he told me that I am not a cop and that I don't have any jurisdiction.
BOOTH: Which is true. Okay, what, what do you want me to do?
BRENNAN: I want you to get federal on his ass.
BOOTH (Smiling): Oh.

BRENNAN: Wait outside while I get dressed.
BOOTH: No, uh uh. The sun's been up for an hour out there. It's already the surface of Mercury. I can stand here, close my eyes, eat my donuts. Best I can do.

LOOOL. That made NO SENSE, like he really HAD to stand right there for the 2 minutes it took her to get dressed. Look at him attacking that donut! LOL.

The Man In The Morgue

BOOTH: Bones, you okay?
BRENNAN: Booth, I told you not to come.

BOOTH: (on the phone to Angela and Zack) Hey, Bones has amnesia because a voodoo murderer put a spell on her to keep her from solving the murder of John Doe 361.
BRENNAN: That's a huge supposition.
ANGELA: (to Booth) That's fine if you don't want to tell me.
ZACK: (scoffs) Ha. Voodoo amnesia. It's a good one.

I love Booth's 'shiiit' expression here, when he notices Brennan's earing on the floor and completely zones out trying to think of a way to get hold of it so that they can't tie Brennan to the crime scene.

BOOTH: Hey, Bones, how's about while you're a murder suspect, you, uh, act more like a normal woman and less like Lily Munster, okay?

ROFL.

HODGINS: Zack, if you are ever going to successfully mimic being human, you have to stop making everything about you and feign interest in the other guy. (no response) Zack!
ZACK: I've noticed that you try to look taller.
HODGINS: When?
ZACK: Around Dr. Brennan.
HODGINS: I do not.
ZACK: And Angela. Because they are both taller than you.
HODGINS: You know what? I take it back. Don't take any interest in the other guy.
ZACK: Thank you for your help.

ROFL! Hilarious little scene. Hodgins totally freaks out on Zack and Zack is the very definition of oblivious.

Caroooline! :D Booth seems so proud of the fact he got a prosecutor to defend Brennan.

CAROLINE: Stop me when I get something wrong. Trained in three types of martial arts, two assault charges, registered marksman with the N.R.A., hunting licenses in four states...
BOOTH: You hunt?
BRENNAN: Well, only for food.
CAROLINE: Shot an unarmed man.
BRENNAN: Well, he was trying to set me on fire.
BOOTH: All right, just...just arrange bail for us, Carolyn, so we can get out of here.
CAROLINE: Sure. Sure. Don't want to get this one mad at me.

ROFL. I love Caroline.

Awww, the cutest. These kids.

BOOTH: You know, Bones, all those things that Caroline mentioned, you know, the...the martial arts, the shooting, the...uh...the assaults... It's just...you're the type of woman that fights. Maybe they didn't expect it. Maybe they thought some kind of magic could hold you.
BRENNAN: I don't believe in magic.
BOOTH: Exactly. You're a surprising woman. Sometimes that's enough for getting away.
(Brennan smiles at him and gives a small laugh. He smiles back.)
BRENNAN: Why are you nice to me?
BOOTH: Because. Because they think they get away with it.
BRENNAN: What?
BOOTH: They burn their victim, they blow 'em up, they toss 'em in the ocean, they bury them in the desert, they...they throw 'em to wood chippers. Sometimes, you know, years go by. They relax. And they start living their lives like they didn't do anything wrong. Like they didn't spend somebody else's life in order to get what they got. They think they're safe from retribution. But you make those bastards unsafe. That's why I'm nice to you.
BRENNAN: I couldn't do that without you, Booth.
BOOTH: Yeah. So...uh, you should be a little nicer to me, huh?
(He smiles at her. She smiles back. He laughs a little.)
BRENNAN: I really should.

Heh. They were so shy about being nice to each other. Their faaaaaces! ♥

HODGINS: She started to change the day she met you.
ANGELA: What?
HODGINS: She sees how you do it. All fun and involvement and pizzazz. Big, you know? Big life. Booth came along and gave her the opportunity, but she got the idea from you. Brennan wants a big life like yours. That's how it looks to me anyway. But what do I know? I'm a bug guy. Bug and slime. And, you know...dirt.
ANGELA: Yeah.
(He stares at her and she looks down and up - a bit awkward and shy.)
HODGINS: So...okay.

First scene where I thought about these two romantically. They're cute.

BRENNAN: Booth, objects have no intrinsic power. A person's future does not depend on some...thing. Things are just things. They do not have magical meaning or powers.
(Booth is leaning back in his chair, head resting on his hand, listening. He opens his hand and lets the earring that he picked up in Legiere's house dangle for her to see. Brennan stares at it a moment.)
BRENNAN: Where'd you get that?
BOOTH: What does it matter? It's just a thing, right?

Just one scene cause Brennan broke my heart a little (and Emily blew me away) - after she finds out her parents weren't who she thought they were and that old guy keeps calling her Joy, geez:

I work at the Jeffersonian Institution; I'm a forensic anthropologist; I...specialize in identify...in identifying...in identifying people when nobody knows who they are. My father was a science teacher, and my mother was a bookkeeper. My brother...I have a brother. I'm Dr. Temperance Brennan.
BOOTH: I know who you are. Hey, I know. It's all right. It's okay, I know.
